Purpose of the Job
The incumbent is responsible for assisting in developing a web-based SQL Portal (Query Builder) for our Treasury data warehouse.
Main Activities
- 70% Web development
- Treasury Analytics team manages Treasury’s data warehouse and provides data services to all Treasury & Capital Market (TCM) teams. To empower other TCM team members with the ability to apply data and analytics to solving their own business questions, we have decided to build a SQL Web Portal to provide easier to use, visualization-oriented technologies for business intelligence (BI) and data discovery. The incumbent will be spearheading into development of this new platform.
- 20% Other Analysis
- Assist with daily Treasury Analytics operations, such as updating rate database, supporting with portfolio trades, process documentation and daily valuations reports.
- 10% Learning of EQB Treasury function
- The incumbent will be an integrated member of TCM at EQB and will learn how a typical bank Treasury department works and more, such as banking, financial market, and financial products, from primarily a data-analytics lens.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- University student (undergraduate or graduate program), with a focus on computer science, data management & analytics or related field
- Experience with programming in Java, .NET, SQL, REST API, Python, and VBA (Excel) and so on
- Experience with web development using Java, .NET and so on
- Good understanding of .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C# technologies
- Experience with API development
- Good knowledge of relational database
