The IRC Finance Team seeks to achieve excellence in financial management by providing accurate and timely financial information to IRC management and programs by adhering to established financial practices and accounting principles, and by ensuring functional financial systems to support the operations.

Job Overview/Summary:

The Treasury Project Officer supports and reports to the Treasury Project Manager in the areas of designing and rolling out the IRC Treasury Management System (TMS) – Kyriba.

The Treasury Project Officer works closely with partners across the Organization in the Finance and IT departments and will collaborate with representatives from the banks and other third parties.

Major Responsibilities:

System design:

  • Participate in TMS and Treasury processes design in close collaboration with IRC Finance teams across the globe
  • Document new Treasury policies, in line with system design
  • Support the Treasury Project Manager for rolling out bank onboarding in Kyriba
  • Develop & maintain Treasury dashboards for reporting to management, using Microsoft PowerBi technology

Training & support:

  • Assist in the training of local teams on Kyriba
  • Actively support Finance teams on their day-to-day needs and requests

Financial Services:

  • Run the IRC’s Kyriba users club to identify required developments
  • Other duties as assigned by the team

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s in Finance or other related fields.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Confirmed knowledge of Treasury principles and related experience with similar international structures in rolling out TMS
  • Validated interpersonal skills: process detailed information accurately and efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills with critical thinking and problems solving mentality
  • Flexible work demeanor: work independently and appetite to meet unexpected demands and learn!
  • Shown communication and interpersonal: the ability to interact closely with colleagues in a diverse multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent Digital literacy: facility with MS Excel, Word, Dynamic 365, and email/online web-based applications.

Working environment:

  • The position will be based in Europe (Brussels, or London)
  • Standard office work environment
