Responsibilities

  • Own/deliver/plan training materials and ensure content/methods are up to date, engaging and relevant.
  • Manage 4 Shift trainers of specific site to ensure that all relevant training and mentoring is delivered.
  • Support/work with Specialist departments to ensure content is fit for purpose.
  • Deliver classroom training sessions to support Site trainers .
  • Responsible for the management of training capability within their dedicated site.
  • Responsible for managaging the completion of frontline validations within their dedicated site.
  • Work alongside the Training Lead to support with dedicated sites yearly budgets to ensure each shift is on track.
  • Support Site trainers with on shift projects.
  • Work with SOMS,CCs,Org capability manager team to plan frontline onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a training team environment with an ability to manage and deliver training plans (must have).
  • Ability to influence without direct management.
  • Ability to apply knowledge in a consistent, methodical way when problem solving.
  • Developing and implementing improvement action plans – both short and longer-term to deliver sustained improvement.
  • Critical & creative thinking – ability to define the problem, generate alternatives, evaluate and select alternatives and implement solutions in line with PIUK standards and the legal framework.
  • Natural leadership skills, ability to coach, manage, collaborate and influence, leveraging the skills and qualities of those around to implement the right short/medium and long-term actions.
  • Ability to connect and build strong external partnerships to benchmark and influence
  • Agile – to work with a complex change agenda and contribute to the shaping of the strategic direction for the sites.
  • Ability to manage and take ownership.
  • Understanding of sites curriculum needs analysis.
