Trainee Hydraulics Engineer

Job Location: Site based near Wyke Regis, Weymouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Excellent starting salary

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (flexibility required due to nature of the business)

A leading specialist Engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry for not only their experience but also that no job is too difficult for them to undertake is seeking to hire a Trainee Hydraulics Engineer to join their experienced team.

This is a trainee role where you will be working alongside experienced engineers learning on the job the full skills needed to develop you into an fully skilled engineer.

Operating out of a large workshop near Wyke Regis, you will be undertaking a varied workload, where you could be undertaking repairs, servicing or breakdowns both in the workshop and onsite at customers’ premises.

This company look after clients not only all around the Dorset area but sometimes called out further afield where their expertise are required to fix a problem. Year on year they have been growing and their reputation excelling and are seeking to expand their team to offer thir cleints a fixable solutions to their equipment problems.

This is a trainee ‘entry level’ role but do require applicants wishing to undertake this position to have:

• Any experience of Mechanics or Engineering whther that be in your own time or as part of any full or part qualifications or apprenticehsip (even if you did not complete it fully)
• Ability to use hand and some power tools
• A willingness to learn with a desire to have a succeasful career learning a trade
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• A driving licence is preffered
