POSITION SUMMARY: Work with the Trade Communications Manager to help implement and evaluate trade communications strategy and plans which meet profit and sales objectives for Luxco.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS:

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

 

Trade Communications:

·        Help manage day to day trade communications – communications from Luxco to Luxco sales team, distributors and accounts

  • Meet with Sales Team/Distributors on regular basis (~20% of their time) to gain better understanding of our focus brands, competitive set and distributor go to market strategies
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors
  • Responsible for curating and developing content for marketing alerts to the field

 

Corporate Communications:

  • Help maintain the corporate website to ensure messaging reflects corporate goals and objectives, and that the site serves as an effective communications tool for all audiences
  • Responsible for maintaining trade portal (DAM, news, brand pages, etc.)
  • Uploading new items/elements
  • Work with Brand Teams to remove any outdated items/elements

 

ShopLuxco:

  • Responsible for management of corporate premiums site and partnerships – work with the Sales and Brand teams to figure out strategy for program items and to keep items refreshed
  • Responsible for sourcing of all corporate premiums and management of the program

 

Storefront

  • Work with vendor to maintain and manage Luxco’s print-on-demand site
  • Work with Brand Teams to upload new items and/or remove outdated items
  • Manage requests for customized projects from Sales Team

 

Core Brand Management:

  • Manage our core brand work, which includes, but not limited to:
  • Developing POS creative as needed to support non-focus brands
  • Work with the Sales team to develop strategies for non-focus brands as needed
  • Package redesigns
  • Social Media content
  • Core brands are the smaller regional brands that are not supported with Brand Managers
  • Manage relationship with our rebate service vendor

 

Budget:

  • Accountable for understanding A&P communication budget details and administration
  • Understand what the budget covers/what is included in the budget
  • Understand the importance of GL codes and how to properly code them
  • Cut and process purchase orders for vendors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A/B.S. Degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in consumer packaged goods marketing.
  • Proven leadership and strategic abilities.
  • Proven ability to communicate cross functionally.
  • Must have excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in/on teams.
  • Must be able to multitask.
