Execute strategies to grow volumes in the global trade lane assigned. Working closely with the manager of global trade lane, along with product and sales, set volume growth goals and business plans to exceed those goals. This position will require a background in both air and ocean, and the ability to interface and collaborate with product, sales, operations and marketing.

Recommend, develop, implement and communicate strategies in order to increase volumes in assigned trade lanes. Help formulate and implement pricing programs; set volume target and allocate to team members in order to enhance the effectiveness of sales achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement. Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, work closely with global trade lane team to communicate direction and deliverables. Direct and in-direct customer contact will also be required. Working closely with product, sales and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures in order to minimize company’s risk exposure as well as enhance service quality and to achieve volume targets. Conduct regular service reviews to ensure agreed upon KPI’s are being met or exceeded. Assist in gathering, analyzing and reporting information regarding performance and competitive activity; submit monthly activity reports and other accounts and performance reports to executive management in order to insure coordination with the sales plan, goals and objectives in specific region. Work with overseas network and local product owners to promote the specific product on a pre-designated trade lane through exchange of sales leads, overseas business visits and pipeline management. Manage annual budget; control, monitor and report results on a regular basis in order to achieve budget targets. Work closely with marketing to develop external and internal communications specific to trade lane companies.

Bachelor’s degree/equiv at least five (5) years business development experience in international freight forwarding industry including air & ocean experience. Prior trade ln route dev. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications. Analytical skills. Business oriented and remarkable business acumen. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in spoken and written english, other language skills a plus.

  • Fluent in Hebrew. This position supports an Israel market. The successful candidate must be able to fully engage with businesses and customs.
  • Must understand Israel markets. Proven experience of 2-3 year is desired.
  • Customer Service experience relevant to Israel market.
  • Fully engaged with Israeli markets.
  • Familiar with Israel customs and how to conduct business in Israel.
  • Air, Ocean and Operations experience required.
  • Subject Matter Expert with Israel Customs and Business Practices.
