TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. This position is one of the most critical roles at TikTok.

With TikTok LIVE feature, content creators can livestream their videos from our platform. LIVE video streaming allows TikTokers to connect with their followers in real-time using comments.

In this role you will build a world-class team and set the vision and strategy for bringing additional higher-quality content onto TikTok LIVE. You will run a sales team responsible for recruiting LIVE influencers into our influencer management portfolio. In addition, you’ll run an account management team responsible for growing our current creator’s revenue and content on the platform. You will establish our value proposition and work with product, operations, PR/Comms, marketing, programming, and policy teams on ways we can support, innovate and effectively grow our content ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership through mentorship and data-driven decision-making; developing your team to flawlessly execute to hit project-based and long-term company targets. Foster a culture of metrics-driven success.
  • Ensure creator needs are met to create positive, long-term relationships.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to answer high-priority strategic questions and contribute to a culture of learning and sharing by regularly reporting performance results, learning and new approaches for partner acquisition and management.
  • Leverage data & insights to inform strategy, development and monetization across multiple formats and creator groups. Create impact by identifying trends, brainstorming aspirational ideas, and engaging with partners to match their strengths with platform’s unique needs.
  • Promote a culture of creativity that supports and enables creators, publishers and artists and enables them to pursue their creative freedom.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience managing sales and account management teams, or a history of managing a P&L budget
  • Experience building and managing partnerships with a range of clients and organisations
  • A history of repeatedly hitting commercial targets
  • Logical and data-driven problem solver who can down complex issues into their component parts
  • Significant leadership and people management experience responsible for teams of mixed level across multiple geographies.
  • Project management skills that enable you to drive cross-functional projects from idea to complete
  • Prior experience in community building with deep understanding of social and online platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in German and English is required
