The Head of Operations will work closely with Product, Strategy, Communications, Legal, TnS, Policy among other departments to further develop and grow the livestream platform in Germany.

Responsibilities
– Foster the regional livestreaming team and scale its operations; understand the product vision, and translate the strategic direction into specific business indicators and execution plans
– In charge of the livestreaming operations business and the market’s P&L, responsible for the market’s LIVE revenue and user retention by fostering a safe, diverse and sustainable LIVE content ecosystem
– Introducing and maintaining the resources of agencies and influencers, negotiating contracts and cooperating with content partners, collaborate with our core LIVE users to increase user engagement and retention, building showcases in the market to increase awareness for hosts and agencies, and educate the industry
– Organize and implement online and offline communications, livestream industry education activities, and participate in local business development exhibitions and forums;
– Make innovative contribution to LIVE revenue strategy and business models, implement our product feature Go-To-Market strategy by ensuring fully understand user demands and product local market fit

Qualifications

• University Degree or higher (required).
• 5+ years’ experience in an operations leadership role within technology, entertainment, media, gaming, social platform, internet industry; livestream industry highly preferred.
• Experience in building and managing a team from scratch is preferred.
• Strong business acumen in emerging industries
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to follow through on execution
• Ability to solve problems using logic in a strategic manner with supporting data
• Experience creating presentations and reports
• Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and time manage multiple projects in parallel
• Professional fluency in the Germany language

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in strategy & operations roles within the tech industry
• Deep passion for TikTok, mobile entertainment, social media, and popular culture
• Creative mindset and thought process that’s focused on driving business parameters forward
• Experience in the livestreaming space, and understanding of livestreaming trends
• Experience working in a global setting across different cultures and languages
