Team Introduction
Join our dynamic EMEA HRBP team and become an integral part of the TnS Department. As a HR Business Partner working student, you will contribute to the success of our HR initiatives, supporting the team in driving strategic HR processes. This role offers a unique opportunity for a final-year university student who is passionate about HR, possesses strong data-driven skills, and is eager to make a meaningful impact.
Parts of this role will require support across ByteDance, as well as TikTok. ByteDance is TikTok’s parent company, whose mission is to inspire creativity and enrich life.

Responsibilities
1. Collaborative Support: Work closely with the HRBP team to assist in various HR initiatives and projects within the TnS Department.
2. Utilize strong analytical skills to gather, interpret, and present HR data, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning.
3. Demonstrate a proactive approach to identify HR challenges and develop effective solutions, fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
4. Navigate through various HR processes, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
5. Engage with different departments and teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve HR and organizational goals.
6. Ensure compliance with HR policies, local labor laws, and regulations, playing a vital role in maintaining a fair and ethical work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
– Currently enrolled in university, in the final year of studies, pursuing a degree related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, graduating in 2024.
– Must be available for 6 months
– Passion for HR: Demonstrated interest in Human Resources with a desire to build a career in HR.
– Data-Driven Skills: Strong analytical and data-driven skills to extract insights and contribute to data-based decision-making.
– Exhibit a sense of responsibility, combined with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and achieving objectives.
– Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred qualifications:
– Language Proficiency: While not mandatory, fluency in German is a plus
