Project Overview
AESA and PT. TRIPPCONS are implementing the European Union Public Policy and Outreach Partnership (EU POP), a two-year public diplomacy project from the EU Delegation to Indonesia, that aims to deepen the engagement of a multilateral organisation with Indonesian future leaders and relevant stakeholders in key policy areas across five thematic sectors, namely Environment and Climate Change; Higher Education and Research; Political Affairs and Human Rights; Economic Affairs, Trade, and Investment; and Culture and Media.
Roles and Responsibilities: Thematic Coordinator: Political Affairs and Human Rights

To provide an in-depth analysis of the Political Affairs & Human Rights sector which is relevant to the EU���������s priorities in Indonesia.
To assist EU POP in developing per semester Political Affairs & Human Rights diplomacy strategy.
To identify and contribute to public diplomacy activities that reach out to maximum target audiences, including ensuring the coherence of key messages on PoliAffairs & Human Rights across all public communications efforts.
To identify relevant stakeholders within the Political Affairs & Human Rights sector, and provide supports for engagements.
To identify risks within the EU Political Affairs & Human Rights sector focus and develop guidelines to prevent and overcome them.
To support EU POP in the development of strategic tools including: monitoring and evaluation indicators for Political Affairs & Human Rights diplomacy, sustainability measures.

Key Selection Criteria

Advanced university degree in political sciences, law, human rights studies, public policy, or relevant subjects.
Five years of working experience in international organisations or donor funded projects.
Deep understanding of the political affairs and human rights landscape in Indonesia.
Experience working with relevant stakeholders, including the government and civil society organisations.
Proven analytical skills to conduct research and provide actionable recommendations.
At least 5 years������ierience in the political affairs and human rights sector in Indonesia and/or Europe.
