Our client is looking for a Logistics & Documentation In-charge based in Dubai to independently manage operations in and out of African origins to other destination.
What will you do?
Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Coordinate with on ground local channel partners for ensuring timely shipment executions
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
To ensure the cargo and shipment insurance is in line with product protocol
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
To ensure monthly and annual inventory audit and reconciliation
What are we looking for?
Minimum Graduate with 7-8 Years of logistics experience/Minimum 4 years of experience in managing a team
Solid knowledge of INCO terms will be preferred
Good connections with vessel owners and shipping lines/ agents will be preferred
Experience in vessel chartering and management
Strong communication and conflict management skills
Must be willing to travel to Africa when required
Strong skills in managing and training people in documentation and logistics
