The Opportunity

  • Committed Agile DevOps team which is fully and autonomously responsible for our applications from code to production
  • Highly motivated multi-location and multi-lingual team with both Cobol and Java applications
  • We are part of the Front-Office department that is responsible for the design, development and processing of the real-time payment applications of Worldline
  • Our services do not know such a thing as downtime, high availability is in our blood
  • We work on services under high constraints (speed, high availability, integrity, robustness, quality)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Tightly work with Developers in a scrum team to analyse and correct bugs identified at all environments from development to production and coordinate with different teams and clients and other QA engineers whenever needed
  • Support End2End Tests and User Acceptance tests with our customers (on site as well as online)
  • Create, execute and maintain manual and automatic tests for our applications
  • Read, analyse and review project documentation and requirements
  • Design and write and execute test-scripts
  • Review and adapt user manuals for clients (in German)
  • Closely follow-up issues correction, evaluate urgency and priority
  • Be involved in application maintenance
  • Participate in team trouble master rotation duty that concsists in coordinating incidents and solving them within the team
  • Reproduce bugs discovered in production, test corrections…
  • Implement test automation for existing applications and maintain existing automatic tests
  • Guarantee the highest quality for our applications

Who Are We Looking For

  • You are a highly motivated, Certified test engineer (ISTQB)/ test managers.
  • Willing to learn technically and continuously improve also on business knowledge.
  • A good team player, resourceful with strong perseverance and independence
  • Agile mindset with strong customer focus and communication skills (3rd level support, User Acceptance Test, automated testing)
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, Sense of ownership, capable of working under pressure.
  • Ready to work and actively contribute in an agile DevOps environment.
  • Testing experience with graphical user interfaces (WEB GUI) and with interfaces to other systems (XML, SOAP).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Java, Junit, API/Service testing using PostMan
  • Knowledge of test automation and test tools (e.g. Selenium, Jenkins).
  • Experience in Jenkins with continuous integration and automated test & build
  • Very Good language skills written and spoken in German & English. French knowledge is a plus
  • Monitoring tools knowledge (Opensearch, Splunk) is an extra
  • Card payments business and mobile payments Know-how is an advantage
