  • Responsible for exceptional member service to include eye contact, welcome greeting, calling member by name, interest and willing to help, energy in body language and tone, friendly comments, ensuring members needs are fulfilled and appreciative closing remarks.
  • Lobby Management to include running the Front Desk when needed.
  • Assist members with Servicing Transactions, to include but not limited to Courtesy Signings, Fraud, Account Maintenance, Account issues, Notary, etc.
  • Listen, identify, process and recommend solutions based on members’ needs. Takes initiative to utilize all available resources to ensure members are assisted completely.
  • Manage all branch calling lists in order to further develop and/or retain relationships.
  • Listen for clues and identifies cross-sell opportunities and refers to appropriate staff members as appropriate.
  • Keep informed on up-to-date financial services and tools offered by the Credit Union to assist members in using these services and tools.
  • Perform all teller transactions, maintains cash drawer, and balances within guidelines established by Credit Union.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by the Branch Management Team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience operating systems.
  • Ability to give exceptional member service and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and individually to consistently meet and exceed set goals determined by the Credit Union.
  • Ability to coordinate and complete a variety of assignments simultaneously and prioritize work.
  • Ability to be self-directed and work under limited direct supervision.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years previous financial institution, retail sales, or customer service position involving cash experience preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
