POSITION OBJECTIVE: CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN.
Guarantee the formulation and implementation of school infrastructure projects, according to the procedures, requirements, engineering standards and results, foreseen by World Vision.
1. UNIVERSITY DEGREE: Civil Engineer.
2. Sex: Indistinct. Age: Between 28-53 years.
3. VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE: 5 years progressive in Construction and Civil Engineering Projects and Management of School Infrastructure Projects (Formulation, implementation, supervision and evaluation). Expertise in metric computations and calculations. Gazette 4044.

6. JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Comply with all regulations, policies and codes of conduct of the Organization (mandatory).
-Lead the development of adaptation and contextualization of methodologies for diagnosing infrastructures and equipment in educational institutions-dining room.
-Provide technical advice, during all phases of the project: design, rehabilitation, adaptation of infrastructure and equipment, in educational buildings, (associated with kitchen and dining service); guaranteeing engineering standards and regulations and the incorporation of sustainability dimensions, including universality.
-Support the PMA project manager in the development and implementation of detailed comprehensive work plans, including: functions, responsible, work schedule, objectives, required inputs, budgets, risk control, limitations and deviation control, expected results, milestone achievements, as well as quality, health, safety and environmental and protection management systems.
–Previous experience with multidisciplinary work teams, in projects of remodeling of school infrastructures, for INGOs and / or international cooperation partners, related to response, recovery and / or development in the sectors of protection, education, refuge, WASH, ASA, with a focus on rights, gender, intergenerational and interculturality. It will be an advantage.
7. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Venezuelan nationality or permission to work in Venezuela is required. General knowledge of Legal Norms and / or norms or engineering standards, applicable to the Venezuelan context (indispensable). Management of computer systems (Office365, Dropbox, Google Drive, Zoom Meeting, or similar, Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook). Availability to travel, within the Venezuelan national territory**, to** the work areas of the project.
