Requirements

Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical or Systems Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent degree with experience
Interest in Project Management and learning more about Mining Technology project support
Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment and able to work on site, and drive on site in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day

Business Intelligence Developer (Location: Elk Valley, BC and/or Calgary, AB)

Proof of concept development focused on advanced analytics and use of visualization tools (Power BI)
Supporting various areas of the business and multiple sites with product deployment through engagement with site professionals to support problem exposure and solution development
Investigating and implementing Azure products
Server patching, configuration assembly and maintenance
Experience in SQL, Python, DAX and C# would be beneficial

All students will be required to complete pre-employment drug testing prior to commencing work. Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.
