We are now recruiting for a Technology Planner to join our Highways team in Dummer to plan and programme all works delivered by that of the technology maintenance team, including cyclical maintenance, DCP repairs and the rectification and management of reactive and pro-active technology defects within both the Area 3 and Area 4 Maintenance & Response contracts.

Key Responsibilities

The Technology Planner will be required to liaise with National Highways and the wider M&R contracts across both Areas 3 & 4 to secure the required road space bookings and traffic management resource to ensure the required network access is provided to the technology maintenance team field engineering resource. Creation of briefing packs to ensure the safe execution of works on site is a significant part of the role as well as managing multiple programs and providing the technology maintenance team with regular updates as to progress of the contractual maintenance deliverables, pro-actively highlighting and communicating any issues that could impact performance. Ensure that the delivery of reactive and cyclical maintenance, resilience works, and schemes are carried out to achieve programme and budgetary requirements.

What do we need from you?

  • Experience and knowledge of strict HSE operations and their practical implications
  • Asset Management Awareness – operational level required
  • Driving licence essential
  • Computer literate, particularly proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and navigation of the local electronic management system and intranet (ECM and IMS)
