Technical Writing Intern

The technical writing intern will plan, design, and publish documentation articles for Lacework Documentation.

We are a small team of technical writers at Lacework. We work with cutting-edge tools to create documentation in a docs-as-code workflow. We use Docusaurus, GitHub, Markdown, Netlify, and Algolia Search to create and publish technical documents. We also use the G-suite: Google Docs and sheets for planning, conducting reviews, and rendering previews.

This is a great opportunity for an intern to learn about cloud security, Amazon, Google, and Azure clouds, SaaS platform, and high-tech software documentation. You will also learn about fundamentals of writing, editing, and publishing technical documents.

The position will be Remote. During the 12-week internship, you’ll be a full-time member of the Engineering Documentation team and paired with a mentor.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of the command line console
• Experience with screen capture tools
• Knowledge of Markdown and GitHub a plus
