Job Description
This role is based in Munich with a very good workplace flexibility to work from home from time to time.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will write user and service documentation according to software specification in close cooperation with the scrum teams, service teams and subject matter experts
- You are a part of our engineering team and coordinate technical writing projects
- You ensure compliance of the user and service documentation with quality, regulatory and privacy and security requirements
- You proofread documentation, drive corresponding review processes and ensure a concise and precise terminology and wording that is also translation friendly
- You contribute in innovative projects to bring our technical documentation to the next level and continuously improve the way we work in that field
- You support the tool chain for writing and publishing as well as the translation of documentation
Your profile:
- You bring a Bachelors degree or comparable university degree in the field of technical documentation or technical communication, technical writing engineering or IT or similar
- You bring a significant professional experience in the field of technical documentation for software
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and DITA editors and content management systems and localization tools
- You are experienced in XML file formats
- You have a sound knowledge of client-server and web based software solutions and terminology
- You bring a native level fluency in English, a very good level in German in writing and speaking and excellent written an spoken communication skills
- You bring a reliable, self organized and independent working attitude
- You are a good team player and always open to continuous improving the way we work
