Detailed Job Description
The Enerflex internship offers students a paid opportunity to work in an environment that fosters real-life experiences, explores career options, and applies their education. This internship will be based in Houston, TX. You will have exposure and the opportunity to broaden your skills through impactful work and mentoring relationships and will gain real-world exposure to different projects on the Enerflex team.
Principle Responsibilities & Duties
Under the supervision of the Technical Training Advisor, the successful candidate can expect to:
- Learn and champion the Enerflex Foundational Principles of Training used throughout the process of training development.
- Take a training topic from concept to vetted, real-world course content for In-Person Instructor led, VILT (Virtual Instructor Led), and eLearning offerings.
- Work in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Articulate Storyline 360 to compile and create storylines, scripts, presentations, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, graphics, videos, audio, e-learning courses, etc.
- Work in Absorb LMS (Enerflex Learning Xchange), creating and tuning a course, uploading e-learning content, as well as the beta testing and vetting process.
- Be the principal beta tester and corrections editor of eLearning content for accuracy and the best learner experience before release.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in and observe VILT technical training courses
- Support training aid preparations required for In-Person Instructor-led courses
Qualifications
- 2nd year of a degree that is complete in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Organizational Development, Communications/Marketing, or Business
- Sophomore credit equivalency (30-59 hours) with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Must be dependable, highly motivated, self-directed, attention to detail, and possess great organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong aptitude for learning new skills
- Strong aptitude for computer technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to complete a long-term internship with Enerflex
