Job Summary

Talent Acquisition Specialists at TECLA are essential for our network to grow and for professionals to find out about what we offer. In a nutshell, Talent Acquisition Specialists are in charge of presenting potential job opportunities to members of our network. In addition, they are in charge of explaining to new and existing members the benefits that come with joining our network, both in terms of job opportunities and career growth resources. Talent Acquisition Specialists succeed when they present the right opportunity to the right candidates, and get those candidates interested in learning more about opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities

The main duties for Talent Acquisition Specialists revolve around growing our network of members and getting candidates interested in TECLA’s job opportunities. Among other things, Talent Acquisition Specialists will:

  • Analyze profiles, resumés, and other applicant information to determine job-candidate fit
  • Present job opportunities to current TECLA members and get them interested in talking to hiring managers
  • Present job opportunities to external candidates and get them interested in talking to hiring managers
  • Share the benefits of joining TECLA’s network with potential members
  • Get top professionals to join TECLA’s network in order to receive future job opportunities
  • Work in tandem with Recruiting Managers to make sure assigned searches have a good amount of applicants at all times
  • Respond to questions from candidates about opportunities
  • Guide and support candidates through interviewing process with clients
  • Position yourself as a thought leader through sharing content and interacting with talent on LinkedIn
  • Always be learning and be willing to share knowledge with other Talent Acquisition Specialists on the team
  • Suggest potential improvements to Talent Acquisition process

Qualifications

In order to be successful, Talent Acquisition Specialists need a combination of required skills which includes:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in tech talent acquisition, recruiting, or sales at tech-related company or agency
  • Intermediate skills with G Suite or Microsoft Work tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Experience with G Suite or Microsoft Work tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Experience in fast learning environments and the ability to learn quickly
  • Proven communication skills
  • Basic understanding of software development process and technologies

Preferred

We prefer applicants who have had experience in sales, business development, or customer service.
