Here’s where you come in:

As the Technical Lead for Advocacy and Policy Influencing, you are member of World Vision International in Cambodia (WVI-C)’s Extended Leadership Team with solid three (3) members and oversee significant resources of advocacy budget through unit budget as well as advocacy components across programming. Externally, in coordination with Programs Quality Director (line manager) and National Director, you will represent WVI-C in local to national and international advocacy engagement and various policy forums. Internally, you will lead technical design and quality implementation oversight of all-advocacy programming, campaign initiatives, policy positions and research, in coordination with cross function managers and senior leadership team.

Requirements include:

  • Master in public/social policy, international development, law, social sciences or a related field applicable to developing and implementing advocacy and policy influencing strategies.

  • Good knowledge of advocacy and policy influencing context in Cambodia/or similar context in Asia region.

  • At least 5 years of experiences in leading advocacy team and or managing advocacy and or policy influencing initiatives in local/international organizations

  • Experienced in external engagement/lobbying with various levels of stakeholders

  • Advocacy empowerment approaches and tools, especially social accountability.

  • Strategy design, planning and implementation

  • Public engagement and campaigning skills, including government relations.
