Chemonics
Chemonics seeks technical experts for the USAID Bangladesh Feed the Future Inclusive Access to Finance Activity. This five-year project aims to increase access to finance for small- and medium-sized agribusinesses, smallholder farmers, and the rural poor. Technical experts will support agribusinesses and farmers to become more creditworthy, and work with banks, microfinance institutions, and other institutions to stimulate increased lending. Technical experts will be based in Bangladesh.

We are looking for mid- and senior-level experts with expertise in the following areas:
- Blended finance structures
- Financial services (formal banking and microfinance)
- Digital finance
- Financial literacy and training
- Business development services and competitiveness
- Financial sector policy reform
- Gender equity, youth engagement, and social inclusion
- Market systems development
- Private sector engagement and investment
We are also seeking technical experts with backgrounds in:
- Collaborating, learning, and adaptation
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Strategic communications and outreach
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in agriculture, economics, finance, or a closely related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant technical experience in Bangladesh. Experience facilitating access to financial services in rural contexts is strongly preferred
- Experience working with a broad range of financial institutions in Bangladesh, including commercial banks, nonbanking financial institutions, and/or microfinance institutions
- Experience working with donor-funded activities (preferably USAID)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in English is required
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
