Purpose of Role

The Technical Analyst – Logistics & Manufacturing (all gender) is supporting the daily business, the development and roll-out of the group-wide INS Group IT-Solutions in the area of technical requirements like Hardware, Scanners, Printers, the installed Infor Apps (IDM / Factory Track) and MES. Furthermore, you will manage and support the other related 3rd party technical solutions (e.g. MDM Solution) during the complete lifecycle including Releasemanagement.

The job holder has a broad understanding of the business needs, current solutions, technology strategies, IT standards, and security requirements. In this position you will act on operational level and have a strong “hands on” mentality to support the business during and after implementation as well as in daily business.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the group-wide INS Group IT-Hardware Solutions in the area of all technical topics regarding Warehousing, Transportation, Manufacturing, Quality and other related 3rd party solutions like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) etc.
• Support Roll-out of INS Group IT-Solutions and other systems in the plants
• Develop technical documentations (IT) following the Intersnack’s IT standards and ways of working for INS Group IT-Solutions
• Oversee upgrades processes, support businesses for applications testing & validation processes with business users
• Ensure IT business systems solutions meet the strategic and process needs of the Group business
• Develop Roadmaps and work along for a continuous improvement
• Support of daily business & Manage the Support unit within functional area
• Analyse Code-Drops (Releasemanagement) and orchestrate process

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5+ years of experience with support of technical solutions and minimum 3+ years of relevant Business Application delivery, ideally in the food industry or FMCG (Fast-Moving Customer Goods), or industry experience in significant IT change projects and/or process management
• High IT affinity and interest in the design and integration of IT solutions in close connection with business needs
• Experience in working with the business and IT, building roadmaps
• Define, implement and control system related processes
• Experience in periphery (Handheldscanner (e.g Honeywell), printer (with production chain) in the Logistics/Manufacturing area) and related migration
• 3+ Year experience with the management of outsourced IT Applications service providers
• Know how in dealing with software systems in the area of production and quality assurance like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Good skills in relation to business processes (BPM), Change Management as well as IT systems
• A plus would be knowledge in ISA-95 knowledge, OPC UA knowledge, SQL-database
• Follow the lean / six sigma approach
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Infor M3 experience would be preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a must, German is a plus
• Willingness and possibility to travel
