As our Teamlead BDR your mission is to grow and develop our international business development team for our Dubai hub. In this position you will make a huge impact on the further growth of our company, contributing to at least 50% year-over-year revenue growth.
Your job
We believe that focus on growth and development of our Business Development Representatives is the best way to strengthen our sales organization for the long term.
Our Business Development Representatives have a critical role in the sales process. By converting leads from different sources into qualified opportunities for our field sales teams, they lay the foundation of Sana’s success.
Next to that, our international Business Development team is our internal talent pool for other positions within our organization. Many BDR’s that started within Sana, progressed towards other roles in our organization, becoming for example an e-commerce consultant or product specialist. The BDR team is one of our main talent pools for the future.
Your responsibilities:
- Growing an international Business Development team to at least 10 Business Development Representatives in Dubai. In addition, you will be leading by example by doing some BDR activities yourself as well.
- Coaching, managing and developing the individual Business Development Representatives
- Activate and motivate the team to hit their metrics and KPI’s.
- Building and maintaining a performance-driven team that always strives to do better and learn from each other.
- Being accountable for the pipeline generation from inbound and outbound channel
- Development and alignment on global initiatives together with other BDR managers and regional general management
- Directly reporting to our Global Head of Business Development

What you bring along:
- Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is a must;
- At least 3-4 years of experience within a business development and/or sales role in a business-to-business environment with a strong track record. Experience within the SaaS industry is preferred;
- Experience as a Team Lead, Team Manager or Team Captain position highly preferred;
- (Near) Native English language skills are a must. Other language skills, such as Arabic, Dutch, French or German are a plus;
- Experience with sales enablement tools such as (Microsoft Dynamics) CRM, Outreach, Showpad, Zoominfo or similar tools.
- Commercial, result driven and challenger mindset are your favorite keywords to describe yourself;
- You know how to activate and motivate a team to go up and beyond;
- You live in Dubai or are willing to relocate to Dubai.
