Outstanding rated Primary School seeking a long term, dedicated Teaching Assistant starting after Easter

Hays are currently working on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Primary School based in Wigan. The school based in Wigan is easily accessible off the M6 with free parking on site. The school are seeking a hard working and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team starting after the Easter break and to continue through to the Summer, with the potential to go permanent from September for the right candidate. Hays have placed a number of candidates here previously who have all spoke very highly of the school.
Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include supervising activities in the classroom and supporting pupils who need learning support. You will also be required to assist the teacher with administrative duties such as photocopying and marking.Additionally, you may be required to support pupils outside the classroom in 1:1s or focus group sessions, or supervise lunch or break duty.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
School leaders are searching for confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in the education sector. The successful candidate will have relevant experience supporting children in either a paid or voluntary setting.
