Tax Manager

A public accounting firm based out of Wisconsin is seeking a remote Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Fully remote position, candidates must be located in Central Time Zone region. *Job Duties*

• Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrates basic knowledge of client’s businesses.
• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations.
• Handle federal, state and local tax audits.
• Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities.
• Train and supervise staff, reviews and evaluates their work.
• Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
• Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements. *Qualifications*
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of tax experience in Public Accounting
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
