Terms of Reference
Service contract Tax consultant firm for overall local taxation process for Care International office for a period of one year.
Required services:
Tax consultant company is responsible for overall taxation process for Care International according to ongoing taxation laws of Jordan and will be responsible for any legal changes in compliance of the local tax laws accordingly.

Services will include but not limited to 2 parts, the consultant company should provide with separate quote for Part 1 and Part 2 as explained below:

Part 1:

1. Verifying the correctness of withholding tax calculation applied on Care’s vendors and consultants both local and international
2. Review and submit an annual tax return and any Kind of tax calculation needed and other assignments regarding taxation needed during the assignment period
3. Alert Care with all tax implications of amendments to local governing Tax laws.
4. Submit the annual staff Income tax on a monthly basis on the online Income and Sales tax department website and ensure that it’s accepted by the tax authority.
5. Tax consultant will advise through letter and /or if required through consultation on the information/details required for any arising tax issues or queries.

Part 2:
1- Prepare annual local financial statements that need to be presented to local tax authorities.
Terms of Agreement:
This agreement will commence upon signature of this contract and will end on a yearly basis
Payments Terms:
20% To be paid after reviewing current CARE practice and advise for any Tax related issue.
40% To be paid after 6 months against satisficed report by CARE.
40% to be paid at the end of the year after accomplishment of the assignment.

Bids must be submitted by hand in sealed envelopes, bids must be attached with the following:

• Valid copy of income tax card/ certificate.
• Valid copy of Occupation license
• Valid copy of Registration certificate for the company
• All quotation prices should be valid for a minimum of six months.
• The quotation must be signed and stamped otherwise the quote will be excluded from the competition.
• Bids should be in Jordanian Dinar and payments will be in Jordanian Dinar
• The quotation should be inclusive of ALL taxes
• We are looking for A firm, not a consultant and the firm should be based in Amman
• Note: CARE Standard Payment Terms are 30 days from receipt of goods or service and a CARE-approved invoice.
