We are passionate about enabling Development and Operations teams to work together in new ways that deliver transformative business results.You will own responsibility for Tanzu Data Sales across the METNA region. As a Sales Executive who is comfortable operating in a matrixed environment, is hands on, decisive and intent on shaping an organisation, you will leverage a variety of skill sets that can enable the organisation to reach hypergrowth. You will have a strong entrepreneurial background and proven track record of achieving bookings, targets and building regional revenue. The successful candidate will be required to engage clients at the most senior levels (Board & CXO) and must therefore be able to display a presence, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to forge long lasting customer relationships.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?Within 30 days, understanding an incredible broader Tanzu sales team of Enterprise, Presales and Partner Sales Executives, whilst focusing on the Tanzu Data offering. You will be bringing innovative thinking to support the team and meet the horizon direction of Application Modernization and Developer Experience. You will be creating and sharing ideas with your peers and broader ecosystem to support and grow the businessWithin 60 days, creating a model for sustainable growth, developing the activity that supports healthy pipeline and delivers our targets. You will be meeting customers and supporting the development of customer centric value propositions that will transform a customer���s business. You will be in the field driving Tanzu Data Sales growth and supporting core account executivesWithin 90 days, you will have a solid understanding of the role of Data in Digital Transformation and be able to communicate the value added by providing Database Solutions “as a service”From there you will be a key part of the Tanzu EMEA Sales team, facilitating collaborative engagements between partners and customers to support greater revenue streams. Help bring a strategy focus and best practices to support sustainable growth in Tanzu Data SolutionsThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Work with other VMware Sales Executives, Office Directors and Platform Architects to drive the Tanzu Data value proposition into our Enterprise accounts Assist in the preparation of pre-work, scoping and contracts for Tanzu POC and Services engagements Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective enterprise wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by our products and services New logo acquisition/working with existing customers to introduce and expand our application and platform services within your assigned market territory Forecast revenues timely and accurately; Increase revenue/ retention rates for specified key accounts Represent VMware with integrity, maintain an industry credibility, prospect for new business, and establish and strengthen relationships through presenting to various audiencesWhat is the leadership like for this role?
