The Role
We’re looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our team and take the responsibility of building pipelines for world class talent, ensuring that the most critical roles have the right balance of quantity and quality at the top of the funnel. In addition, we are looking for someone with passion to create long-term connections, experience advising talent acquisition teams on market trends, and providing support in building diverse funnels.
You will join a team of +15 very dedicated recruiters who were able to hire more than 200 new “Preplers” in 2021. As we are in the process of building a talent acquisition team who really looks after creating delightful experiences for our candidates, this is a great opportunity to help us create the sourcing activity, and work within a solid structure in one of the most vibrant and attractive scale-ups in the ed-tech industry.
At Preply we have a strong culture of experimentation, so we will be responsible for benchmarking and testing the best sourcing tools in the market, and implementing the ones that will allow us to engage with the best talent.
As part of this role, you’ll also participate in different projects with the aim to improve the way we hire, including employer branding and DE&I activities.
As Our Talent Sourcer, You Will
- Work together with different recruiters within the team, ensuring they are busy interviewing high quality candidates that you have sourced directly.
- Use different social media platforms and Internet tools to engage with the best talent.
- Help in the screening process of certain candidates.
- Contribute in Talent Acquisition related projects including Operations, Employer Brand and Diversity and Inclusion.
- Optimize the way we use the existing sourcing tools in the team (i.e. Linkedin Recruiter)
- Be part of a team that really looks after candidate experience, and who wants to create beautiful experiences while attracting the best talent to Preply.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as Talent Sourcer. We don’t care about the “years of experience”. We are looking for someone skilled, passionate about sourcing, and a good market knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of how to use an ATS (ideally Greenhouse), and Linkedin Recruiter
- Experience building complex queries, using boolean operators, and other techniques to find hidden talent.
- Business mindset and communication skills, able to persuade and influence hiring managers, recruiters and other relevant stakeholders;
- Strong curiosity, problem-finding and problem-solving skills;
- Creative mindset and a proactive attitude towards the creation of talent pools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in a product startup, or agency experience supporting similar customers;
- Experience benchmarking and evaluating sourcing tools.
- Knowledge of reporting via ATS and/or excel.
