The Cashier is responsible to ascertain that all sales of their outlet are properly recorded at the time of sale into the POS and all accounts are correctly closed using the correct mode of settlement.
Responsibilities:
Correctly recording all sales of respective outlets.
Properly accounting for and handling all cash receipts and assigned cash floats.
Ascertaining that all “charge sales” are correct and that the guest’s name is entered on the bill and the guest’s signature is legible
Comply with the all Accounting Policies and Procedures and with all company Policies, as applicable.
Close their shift in the POS and obtain all reports related to their shift.
