Overview

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the talent management and development functions of the Talent Management and Development team (TMD) by assisting in the administration of the performance management cycle, the Employee Opinion Survey, and activities related to competency identification and use across the enterprise.

This position also serves as a liaison between TMD and instructors, vendors, participants, and the learning management system (LMS) so that everyone has the information, course access, and materials they need for a successful learning and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the deployment and monitoring of the yearly performance management cycle, including calibration activities, by coordinating all forms and templates and participating in system maintenance, testing, and cycle close out activities.
  • Assist with DDI competency card sorts and related processes, including prepping of materials and assisting with card sorts, and follow up with staff.
  • Coordinate the administration of learning and development programs, including the TMD yearly calendar.
  • Deploy evaluations for all learning and development programs and interact with participants post training to recommend additional learning strategies, tools, and resources.
  • Assist with the administration of the Employee Opinion Survey and related employee engagement activities.
  • Coordinate the activities related to the yearly service award ceremonies to recognize the contributions of our talent.
  • Monitor the use of LinkedIn Learning and/or similar resource and contribute to its adoption and spread by working with users across the enterprise to gain familiarity, identify useful courses and videos, and assisting sub-admins.
  • Coordinate the continuing education process for any development offering eligible for CEs. Ensure all requirements are met and files are complete and up to date. Complete and file all reports, as requested.
  • Create and send out the TMD Newsletter and related marketing.
  • Collaborate to compile accurate TMD metrics and report out quarterly.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field. Talent Management Certified a plus.
  • A minimum two to four years of t alent management and/or development
  • Experience with competencies and the DDI card sort preferred but a willingness to learn is acceptable.
  • Interpersonal, communication, influence, and customer relationship skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills .
  • Strong collaboration skills.
