As a Talent acquisition intern you will have the opportunity to work with Talent Acquisition partners, assist with sourcing and screening a variety of candidates, assist with interview scheduling, and assisting with recruitment marketing and operations. In addition to recruiting, you will also have an opportunity to gain exposure to other facets of HR, including diversity initiatives, new hire onboarding/new hire orientation, employment and diversity branding, and much more.

In this role you will help support the growing demand of hiring across our U.S. locations. This is a year-round internship with a combination of in office and remote work. Must be able to work out of Maumee, Ohio location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist hiring teams with coordinating calendars and scheduling candidates for interviews through various methods (e.g. Teams, structured interviews, video interviews, assessments)
  • Create and post new job requisitions
  • Coordinate and assist in the hiring process
  • Source qualified candidates via job sites, Applicant Tracking System, networking, etc.
  • Collaborate with recruiters daily to discuss needs and tasks to be completed
  • Facilitate and maintain accurate tracking of candidate movement through the recruitment process
  • Maintain various reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics
  • Be an advocate for Dana to all candidates and external sources
  • Support various special projects as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in bachelor’s program; prefer major in Human Resources
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in calendar management
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Effective analytical and planning skills
  • Comfortable communicating professionally to all levels of candidates and leaders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Team, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
