Talend Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain DI and ESB solutions.
• Work closely with applications and database teams to deliver business value through the Data Integration platforms.
• Create and maintain SQL procedures, User Defined Functions and Views to support and maintain new and existing integration requirements.
• Proactively improve the performance, development and availability of the Integration solutions.
• Support in collaborative problem solving with associated application teams for any incoming issues.
• Follow best practice for developing, testing, communicating and documenting data projects.
• Supporting role in working with relevant third parties involved in delivery of solutions.
• Continually improve processes to minimise the impact of risks to the business.

About You

• Experience in data engineering with any one of the applications such as Talend v7 and/or Talend Cloud, Ab Initio, Informatica, AzureDataFactory/Synapse
• Hands on experience with SQL 2016 onwards.
• Experience of interpreting/negotiating business requirements with stakeholders.
• Experience in creating design and support documentation.
• Experience with cloud computing services.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 working with OData, REST APIs and Azure Service Bus.
