You’ll be working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving and high growth environment with the following responsibilities:
Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)
Providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice to your employer and other members of staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business sector and their products or services.
Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.
Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.
Designing and delivering legal training to the business.
Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect your business and specific industry.
Develop company policy and position on legal issues
Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks
Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents
Represent the company in legal proceedings.
Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)
Draft and administer all contracts
Negotiate deals and attend company meetings
Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
Negotiate deals on behalf of the company.
Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
You should apply if you have:
Fluent in both spoken and written English and preferably Arabic
A minimum of 5 years experience as a corporate lawyer
Proven comparable law firm experience
Proven background in corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws)
Excellent negotiation and communications skills
Administrative and managerial skills
You’re an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across the business
Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
You are comfortable using data & analysis to drive improvement initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
Computer skills
Current license to practice law
BS degree in Law
