KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

  • Lead regional HR Disability Inclusion initiatives, partnering with external and internal disability networks.
  • Build partnerships, develop and maintain strong relationships that include outreach to institutions of higher learning, targeted diversity organisations, professional associations and other recruiting sources to ensure sourcing produces a strong talent pipeline.
  • Support WFP Country Offices to meet their gender balance targets by attracting more qualified female candidates, particularly in hardship locations.
  • Establish and manage a roster for International and National talent in key functions across the region for target Country offices.
  • Articulate WFP’s employee value proposition to enhance visibility and reputation in key sourcing channels by carrying out impactful and targeted employer branding activities.
  • Lead Talent Acquisition/HR special projects to develop regional HR capacity.
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or another relevant field

Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of the recruiting market and trends in the Asia and Pacific Region
  • 6 or more years of postgraduate professional experience in the field of Talent Acquisition, of which at least 3 at international or regional level. Experience working as part of a multicultural and diverse team, and/or leading one.
  • Demonstrated success developing and deploying creative, effective candidate pipeline development methodologies and effective outreach strategies.
  • Structured and lead multiple talent projects simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Experience in sourcing and recruiting hard-to-find profiles.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, technology, and sourcing tools. Experience with SAP recruitment platforms is highly desirable

JOB PURPOSE

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be based in our Bangkok, Thailand Regional Bureau supporting the Asia & Pacific region.
She/He/They will have a deep commitment to workforce diversity; proven experience introducing new methods and ideas to identify and engage top talent; and successfully enlists support from the business for talent attraction, networking and workforce diversity engagement initiatives.
The role reports directly to the Learning & Development lead of the regional HR unit, and may require travel to WFP’s Asia and Pacific countries.
