The Sensiba Center for Sustainability at Sensiba San Filippo is actively seeking two bright, enthusiastic Sustainability Interns to join our firm’s sustainability department and undertake a one-year Secondment with the nonprofit, B Lab.

About The Intern Secondment Program
As an SSF Secondment Sustainability Intern you will be employed by SSF and work predominately with B Lab assisting with their B Corp certification procedures reviewing applications, verifying data, and consulting with organizations through their certification process. Your duties and responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysis of B Lab’s B Impact Assessment for B Corporation certification
- Assist as a staff member on the following engagements:
- B Corp assessments
- Review and verification of company information under the B Corp framework
- Data analysis and review
- Consulting with businesses on the B Corporation certification process
- To include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Analysis and review of the underlying information provided by certifying companies
- Organizing and analyzing data using intermediate Excel skills
- Documenting procedures
- Collaborating on internal process improvements
- Client correspondence and participate in meetings
- Clearing points and comments as work is reviewed by supervisors
- Attending various training courses

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study completed by December 2022 – Business/Economics, Accounting, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Data Science, Engineering, Law/Sociology
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge about B Lab and B Corporations
- GPA minimum of 3.2 preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills are required
- Impeccable interpersonal skills
- Desire to learn and grow with B Lab and SSF
