Job Purpose

As a Sustainability Executive in the Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting a range of sustainability initiatives and projects, as well as other generalist projects being managed within Operations.

The successful candidate will need strong organisational and problem-solving skills, be solutions-focused, and have the ability to liaise with colleagues and key stakeholders across various sites and teams.

Please note this role can be London or Milton Keynes based.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the relevant leads to deliver the sustainability strategy for Climate and Environment and Communities.
  • Assisting with sustainability related projects – carrying out research, preparing proposals and executing plans.
  • Coordinating, drafting and publishing communications as per the sustainability communications schedule and ad hoc as required.
  • Updating dashboards on a monthly basis, providing analysis and follow up where necessary.
  • Developing relationships with the Community Champions and Green Champions and guiding them in their roles.
  • Assisting with wider Operations related projects as required, working closely with the Senior Operations Manager and the Operations Director.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Some knowledge of sustainability, particularly regarding climate and environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Solutions-focused
  • Flexible with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to influence change and challenge existing procedures
  • A strong team player who works collaboratively
