What we are looking for:

This role is responsible for auditing and identifying sustainability as well as energy efficiency areas with potential for improvement in all our 40 factories and logistics centers across all divisions worldwide. Sustainability roadmaps for each site have to be established and approved so that we can achieve our long term Net Zero targets (2030 in scope 1 and 2 and 2040 in scope 3).

You will lead the implementation of the agreed changes with multi-national teams and demonstrate the achieved improvements. You will report directly to the Head of Industrial Engineering for Franke Group Operations based at headquarters in Aarburg, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holistic analysis and support of identified sites in respect of sustainability and energy efficiency such as packaging, automation and more
  • Documentation of recommended improvements with costs and saving potentials
  • Mapping a multi-year roadmap of improvements in alignment of the overall Franke Sustainability Roadmap and aligned with local organization
  • Continuous improvements and cross-sharing of learnings and best practices
  • Collaboration with external experts
  • Support with implementation of agreed measures with multi-national teams
  • Documentation of improvements
  • Close collaboration with Group Sustainability team
  • Member of a cross-functional and cross-locational project team
  • Follow-up on environmental targets of 15 legal entities

  • Travel – Ability to travel internationally, project based up to 60%

Required Experience:

  • Track record of successfully working on Sustainability and Energy Efficiency improvements in large organizations with international scope
  • Experience in energy management systems
  • Experience in change management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in a Sustainability environment
  • Engineering and Project Management expertise

Education and Languages:

  • University degree in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Languages: English fluency (both written and oral). German and/or other languages a plus
