Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is currently recruiting for the position of ‘Supporter Relations Manager’ to join its dynamic Corporate Services Division based in its office located in Waterloo, London. The role will operate on a hybrid/remote basis depending on your location. ]

The purpose of the role is to implement and champion Supporter Relations initiatives and best practice within the organisation through supporter communications, donations and data management within the agreed strategic framework.

The successful candidate must have or be:

· Educated to degree level or equivalent

· Extensive team and people management skills. Experience of managing a team, conducting 1:1’s and appraisal setting team KPI’s and objectives.

· Knowledge, understanding and experience of using Blackbaud’s fund-raising (or similar) database / CRM System

· Strong numeracy and analytical skills

· Ability to strategize, plan, prioritise and delegate to ensure successful delivery of work and projects.

· Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing as well as build relationships with people of all backgrounds, levels and settings

· Influencing, negotiating and motivational skills

· Excellent project management skills

· Good knowledge of ICT as well as understanding of communications systems and related issues.

· Experience of working in a supporter/ customer care environment and handling a complex range of enquiries and/or issues

· Previous experience of working within humanitarian and development (third) sector is an advantage

· An understanding of quality assurance systems and standards, in a context of setting, tracking, and delivering within agreed service targets
