With this individual contract, OCHA aims to ensure the adequate capacity and resources in the CBPF Section to finalize the revision process of the CBPF Global Guidelines.

The total time allocated for this individual contract is three months, full time from 26 September 2022 to 25 December 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the overall leadership of the Head of Section, and the direct supervision of the Head of Fund Management Support Unit, the incumbent will carry out the following duties:

– Assist the finalization of annexes to the CBPF Global Guidelines

– Support the coordination of the launch and roll-out of the CBPF Global Guidelines

– Assist the reflection of changes made in the CBPF Global Guidelines in the Grant Management System (GMS)

– Create an online document repository with relevant documents of the revised Guideline as well as other resources to enhance the alignment of approaches and promote best practices.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree in political science, social science, public administration, international studies, economics, or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience: One year experience in policy and project coordination and drafting guidance is required.
Experience with the Pooled Funds is desirable.
Language: Fluency in English is required. Advanced writing and verbal communication skills are required.
