Location: UK Flexible (hybrid role working between home and office – with the requirement to attend the London office on occasion)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £21,465 per annum (plus £3,344 Inner London Weighting allowance if applicable)
Can you take responsibility for supporting the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and co-ordinating the logistics and administrative support of International Directorate projects?
About the role… **As Support Officer – Programmes and Partnerships (International) you will provide coordination, administrative and office support to the Director of Programmes and Partnerships (P&P), ensuring the smooth running of daily tasks, while taking responsibility for the coordination o f specific project and programme work reflecting the directorate priorities as they occur.
You will undertake core administrative tasks on behalf of the Director of P&P, including maintaining distribution lists, maintaining and coordinating team equipment, booking and maintaining a schedule of individual, inter- group and team meetings, and supporting the on-boarding process for new starters within the teams you support.
You will be required to support with travel bookings, scheduling, coordination and arrangement of meetings and /or events for frequent travellers, while acting as a focal point on internal and external information management, including preparing information packs and newsletters, intranet responsibilities, briefings, and other reporting requirements including coordinating departmental contributions to corporate reporting and minute taking.
This role may be for you if…

  • You have experience of providing administrative support.
  • You can demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills, with first class attention to detail.
  • You have a proven ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing needs.
  • You have experience compiling and summarising materials for a variety of audiences and drafting proposals and reports.
  • You have experience of and competency in financial administration including using spreadsheets.
  • You can demonstrate excellent IT skills, including MS Office packages and information management systems, along with first class written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ideally you will also have a good understanding of humanitarian issues
