Mission
Oversee supply chain improvements through management and/ or progress monitoring of projects resulting from the OCG supply chain strategy.
Context
Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent humanitarian organization providing medical aid to victims of man-made or natural disasters, epidemics and endemics. ln its Operational Centre of Geneva (OCG). Within the Supply Chain Unit, embedded in the Logistique departement, the ultimate objective is to achieve OCG’s ambitions for the coming years, as well as to ensure the transformative capability that the MSF Supply Chain will need to overcome in the future new contexts, some operational growth, a new landscape of actors and upcoming international regulations. Finally, the MSF Supply Chain will also need to maintain the same level of quality of products and delivery to our operations, while working on reducing our environmental footprint. Moreover, these dynamics need consistency in their implementation around a project management approach.
Responsibility
· Coordinate activities between multiple supply chain projects
· Act as project Manager in some project linked to the OC supply Chain strategy
· Lead and oversee supply chain sustainability projects and activities
· Suport and monitor the implementaiton of the OCG Supply chain strategy 2022/2025
Scope of responsibilities
· Ensure or support the contribution of the Supply Chain Unit to the strategic framework of OCG (multiyear / annual Plans); and implementation of the organization’s strategic choices within his/her area of responsibility.
· Contribute to the development of new projects, concept notes, project plans, logframes, timelines and budget.
· Develop project plans and timelines and ensure implementation
· Ensure that projects are executed according to the agreed work plan and budget
· Engage with the projects’ steering committees and working groups collating and implementing their strategic and technical recommendations
· Manage stakeholders’ relationships and expectations
· Contribute to developing communication plan and materials for each project under her/her supervision
· Work with other teams, department and other MSF entities to realize synergies in the design and implementation of projects.
· Being Supply chain sustainability focal point for OCG
· Support the OCG supply chain digital transition
Your Profile
Education:
· Diploma, degree or certification in Supply Chain Management or related area,
· Project Management certification is a plus
Experience
· 1+ year MSF field experience in a supply position
· Experience in project management
· MSF experience at HQ is an advantage
· Knowledge of MSF international structure an asset
Technical skills
· Strong knowledge of MSF Supply chain management
· Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with effective
· communication
· Analytical thinking

· Diplomatic, open, able to listen, rigorous, organized, high level of initiative
· Ability to work with multidisciplinary and/or cross-cultural teams

· English required, French is a plus

Terms of Employment
· Full-time, 100% (40h/week)
· Working place : Geneva, with 30% overseas travel
· Ideal start date: April 1 first, 2022
· Gross annual salary: CHF 91’668.- to CHF 105’180.- (salary commensurate with equivalent experience and internal salary grid)
