Supply Chain Internship Program

Llano Logistics provides support and supplies to all branches of the United Family, including the 96 stores across the company’s five retail banners – United Supermarkets, Market Street, Albertsons Market, Amigos, and United Express.

Supply Chain Management is an integral part of most businesses and is essential to company success and customer satisfaction. Llano Logistics’ Supply Chain Internship will consist of a rotation throughout all aspects of our Supply Chain business. Selected interns will spend time gaining hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Procurement
• Inventory
• Quality Control
• Transportation
• Logistics
• Industrial Engineering
• Safety

Details:

• Please note: This Summer Internship will be located in Lubbock, Texas, at Llano Logistics.
• 10 week summer program
• Paid Full-Time work week of up to 40 hours (hours may vary based on the rotation)

Who is Eligible?

• Full-Time students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program
• Recent graduates who have recently received their undergraduate degree
• Perspective graduates within 18 months of graduation date
• Students currently enrolled or recent graduates in an industry certification program

To Be Considered:

• Complete the online application and upload the most recent copy of your resume
• Send a copy of your most recent transcript
• Send TWO letters of recommendations
• One academic letter from a teacher or counselor who is familiar with the applicant’s academic standing
• One personal letter from an employer, religious leader, teacher, or counselor who can attest to the applicant’s character
• Write an essay (500 words or less) discussing how you would be a valuable member of The United Team and how this internship would help you accomplish your career goals, expanding on your particular areas of interest in our company. This essay may be emailed or added as an attachment to the internship application.
