What You Need To Know

The Great Yarmouth facility is our Subsea Centre of excellence and delivers high specification, high quality products to the oil & gas and renewables industry. We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.

The role

Our Supply Chain Coordinators proactively manage supplier deliveries in order to minimise delivery slippages and maximise supplier on-time delivery for all Proserv businesses. While providing regular, accurate status up-dates to internal customers on key deliveries from suppliers so the effects of any supplier delivery issues can be minimised.

Some of the Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)

  • Ownership of supplier on time delivery, carrying out expediting and status telephone calls
  • Implementation and co-ordination of status reporting for key suppliers – Weekly snapshot of all open PO’s and current scheduled delivery date.
  • Prompt and clear communication with internal customers (Buyers/Supply Chain Managers, Project teams) of status reports and expediting/auditing needs.
  • Work closely with the Proserv Chennai facility on maintaining accurate supplier updates.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with the Goods In department/Supplier to resolve any delivery discrepancies.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable department with the resolution of invoice queries and discrepancies.
  • Support the administrative requirements of the procurement team, taking direction from Buyer(s).

Education

Essential

  • Good standard of education including GCSE Grade 9-5 English and Math (or equivalent).

Experience

  • Experience in effective communication with professionals of all levels
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with Compliance, ISO and HSE
  • Ability to work independently, identify issues and plan accordingly
  • Ability to provide clear and accurate reports, capturing status and actions. Detail oriented and well organised.
  • Full driving license.

Preferred

  • Expediting experience
  • Proserv Product Line experience
  • Power BI/Microsoft AX experience
  • Experience of or exposure to Procurement or Materials Management.
