Mission

The Supply Chain back Office is in charge of defining, applying and maintaining a Supply IS for the WaCA missions aligned with the Supply Chain unit objectives.

This includes development and improvement of tools and reports, working on the policies and SoPs, and support on deployment and implementation. To that end, he/she interworks with third parties (Supply platforms, working groups, ESCs,…) for to ensure coherence and integration of the other systems.

He/she supervises the Supply Information Systems that will be selected by MSF WaCA.

This position requires an important level of collaboration with other departments and with other OCs to align the services support and mutualize resources.

Main Responsibilities

Process and procedures :

· Analysis, simplification and sharing of the current internal macro, micro processes and standard operating procedures with a view to be adapted to field operations.

· Set up the standard report formats for project, coordination and field visit purposes.

· Work on a WaCA supply guideline and follow the standardization at the missions level and HQ.

· Review existing Supply Chain tools in the movement as well as associated user manuals and make proposals with adjustments if necessary for better agility.

· Set up and lead the data analytics and reporting activities for the WaCA Supply Chain with the collaboration of the Digital and transformation team

· Steer the general strategy for the various Supply Information Systems as well as Data and reporting within WaCA Supply Chain. This includes information flows in entities that are out of the WaCA management scope.

Supply Information Systems :

· UNIFIELD: Gather information from the other OCs and BREQ (Business requirements platform) and see what are the next development of the ERP and do/present the analysis

· AKIBA (Dynamics): Gather information from OCBA and see what are the next development of the chosen ERP and do/present the analysis

· Coordinate with the Finance, IT and Digital Transformation departments to ensure alignment on selected tool design and support.

· PORTAL, EXTRANET: Participate on the intersectional platform about the interoperability of the ESCs

Human resources :

· Supervision and focal point in discussing training opportunities with the other OCs (PPD, SCMT, Supply Week….) and other department training that could include a Supply part (Logistic, Finance….).

· Creation and animation of Supply modules of various MSF trainings if needed

Other :

· Can represent the WaCA Supply Unit in current and futur working groups, plateforms and international supply studies.

· Can support the field team in emergency mission deployment

This includes developing and improving tools and reports, working on policies and SoPs, and supporting deployment and implementation. To this end, it works with third parties (supply platforms, working groups, CES, etc.) to ensure the consistency and integration of other systems.

He oversees the supply information systems that will be selected by MSF WaCA.

This position requires a significant level of collaboration with other departments and with other COs to harmonize service support and pool resources.

Main responsibilities

Processes and procedures:

· Work on a WaCA procurement guideline and follow standardization at mission and HQ level.

AKIBA (Dynamics): Collect information from the OCBA and see what are the next developments of the chosen ERP and make / present the analysis

· Coordinate with finance, IT and digital transformation departments to ensure alignment on the design and support of selected tools.

· PORTAL, EXTRANET: Participate in the intersectional platform on ESC interoperability

Human ressources:

· Supervision and focal point in discussing training possibilities with other CBs (PPD, SCMT, Supply Week….) and other departmental trainings which could include a Supply part (Logistic, Finance….).

Creation and animation of supply modules of various MSF trainings if necessary

Others :

· Can represent the WaCA sourcing unit in current and future working groups, platforms and international sourcing studies.

Can support the field team in the deployment of the emergency mission
