Summary

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to serve as an expert and principal advisor assisting the Talent Acquisition and Classification Branch Chief to plan and develop strategies and processes for AOC’s talent acquisition program involving a predominantly Wage Grade workforce in addition to General Schedule and Exempt personnel.

Specialized experience:is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for the GS-14grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service.

Examples of specialized experience for this position include: (1)Applying comprehensive technical knowledge of human resources (HR)-related laws, regulations, policies, principles and practices to develop, administer and manage talent acquisition activities (i.e. sourcing, recruitment and selection processes for Wage Grade and General Schedule position vacancies, reviewing and approving HR-related actions and other talent acquisition activities); (2) Analyzing recruitment metrics to track recruitment efforts, identify organizational needs and develop strategies for meeting those needs; (3) Providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders in relevant functional areas; and (4) Utilizing an enterprise human resources information system for talent acquisition and processing HR-related actions.

  • Supervisory experience is not required, but will be highly preferred.
