Basic Purpose

Hardware Asset Management is an Information Systems team focused on the usage of IT Hardware from a financial point of view. This focus is not only the general tracking of the asset, but also the financial impact of its lifecycle after initial purchase.

We are looking for a self-starter who can research, analyze, and report on findings that assist in improving purchasing trends and forecasting of budgetary needs. The intern will need to be a multi-tasker and a team player who can effectively adjust to varying workload levels.

Responsibilities

• Support IT Hardware tracking requirements
• Support team initiatives to provide greater cost analysis and reporting regarding IT Hardware lifecycle management
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about IT Hardware financial management

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an undergraduate or higher degree from an accredited college/university
• Effective organizational skills and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently
• Experience with data analytics and working with large data sets
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee’s leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.

Salary Range: $15.00 – $30.10 hourly

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. Within this range, pay will be determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, location, and market position.
