Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are building a unique analytics and machine learning platform to augment our Equity & Crypto Trading platform that will empower institutional and retail investors to gain real-time insights that multiply trading gains while managing risk and improving compliance. A primary need of this platform is to have reliability on the raw data sourced from various data producers. This internship position will help establish an automated platform for ongoing data quality monitoring.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and document data quality rules for consistency, integrity, data drift
• Communicate with data team to document data set rules and requirements
• Learn data quality tools configuration and implement rules for ongoing monitoring
• Create dashboard and triggers for alerts for effective monitoring of data quality

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & CORE TECHNOLOGIES:

• Pursuing Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics
• Exposure to Python, Kubernetes, Spark, AWS, Azure, SSIS/Data Factory, TSQL
• Good communication skills (both written and oral) are necessary
• Enthusiastic learners who can think creatively, raise questions, and research items, as necessary
• Possess a “Can Do” attitude to build quality code at a high velocity
• Understanding of Agile SDLC, Change Management
• Knowledge of data quality tools such as Informatica, Colibra, DQ Labs preferred
• Excellent communication skills

Internship Duration:

• 2 months full-time. Could be extended or converted to employment. Possibly 100% remote working with regular online audio and video meetings.
