PSEG is seeking a summer intern to work with the Hope Creek/Salem Simulator Group. The Hope Creek/Salem Simulator Group is part of Hope Creek/Salem Operations Training team and are responsible for maintaining Hope Creek and Salem Control Room and Remote Shutdown Panel Room Simulators that are used for initial and continuing Licensed Operator Training Programs. Hope Creek/Salem Simulator Group updates the Simulators to ensure seamless operating characteristics between the simulated system and actual plant conditions and transients.

This includes modifying various hardware, programming simulator support software and comprehensive testing of simulator settings and parameters. This position will be in-person.

Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities welcome to apply **Job Responsibilities** The successful intern will assist with: Simulator Software Engineer and Simulator Technical Analyst. **Job Specific Qualifications** The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing an Bachelor’s from an accredited institution in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering Candidate must have completed junior level coursework by the start of the internship program to be considered. Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education, which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Preferred Skills: 3.0 GPA All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period and as business needs warrant.
