The People and Culture Information System (PAC IS) Unit is responsible for the management and maintenance of PAC information system and PAC applications in the ICRC and ensures that acceptable level of user experience on these tools is attained and maintained. The unit provides functional, procedural and technical support to PAC service providers and ICRC employees in HQ and in the field.

The Time Off Deployer ensures the deployment of the Successfactors Time Off module to field delegations in line with the standard solution. S/he is accountable for translating business processes into adequate Information/Data systems and ensuring their relevance and consistency over time to support those requirements. The TO Deployer works under the Time Off Project Manager (based in Geneva) for project deployment.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

A. TIME OFF CONFIGURATION AND TESTING

  • Discusses standard Time Off solution, analyses and identifies gaps between delegation business processes
  • Acts as technical subject matter expert. Translates business requirements to technical specifications. Configures, manages, identifies and implements Successfactors solution to optimize business operations and in line with the business strategy
  • Capable of proposing/configuring specific business rules in the module if business requests differ from standard solution
  • Prepares testing scripts, procedures, system environments and facilitates acceptance testing with the business and resolves issues in an agile methodology
  • Ensures the system is compliant with rules for referential data and is adequately interfaced. Also ensures compliance with established internal and external needs and regulations

B. PROJECT DOCUMENTATION

  • Collaborates with Project Manager in ensuring proper project documentation is in place and up-to-date
  • Reviews/approves the work plans of external service providers or consultancies contracted for the project, making sure that understanding is achieved by SDT for production environment deployment
  • Updates workbooks and configuration guides and keeps them in the project Sharepoint repository
  • Assists in creation of user guides and coordinates with Documentation Officer for Dokiel publication

C. CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND TRANSITION TO RUN

  • Ensures communication between the business stakeholders and the project team and allows for the constant monitoring of the project to discuss the ongoing status of the project and to highlight and agree both risks and changes, ensures engagement by all stakeholders so that the project is successful from the business perspective and that it transitions into the business-as-usual life of the company
  • Actively participates in the Change Management meetings
  • Coordinates with Change Officer and the business on preparing communication and training items for end-users
  • Ensures the system is compliant with rules for referential data and is adequately interfaced. Also ensures compliance with established internal and external needs and regulations
  • Work in close collaboration with PAC IS Project and PAC IS Operations teams to ensure the agreed systems & tools interventions are properly configured, documented, and implemented, from the business process design to the technical implementation and support

Selection Requirements:

  • Bachelor`s Degree in IT/Computer Science, Psychology of Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in working on projects, preferably Successfactors
  • Experience in Successfactors time off configuration is essential
  • SAP Certification is an advantage
  • Knowledge in MS Excel is essential
  • Experience using or supporting HCM systems such as SAP SuccessFactors is essential
  • Fluency in English and an asset if working knowledge of French
